BRAINY & MINDY PROGRAMME

Human brain grows and is developed as much as we use and tend it diligently. For those parts that are not used, like untended parts of a garden, they will be weakened, pruned and left to deteriorate. Brainy & Mindy is a brain-developing programme that will expand, stretch and maximize the use of the whole brain through exercises requiring concentration, creativity, and critical thinking. This results in strengthening the right-brain capabilities such as speediness, photographic memory, creativity and imagination skills, concentration skills, visualization, and eye-brain-fingers movement.

 

Children whose whole brain is developed exercise various mental faculties and combine their analytical mind and artistic flair in a balanced manner when working at a problem. They will not be contented with easy or ready-made solutions within the confines of conventional wisdom. Instead, they will be quick to put new thoughts into old ideas, see the big picture while managing the important details, and exercise flexibility in different circumstances in order to come up with a viable solution. Children whose brain is highly developed are also fast-learners and high achievers and have the capacity to grasp complex concepts and come up with a new and refreshing understanding by drawing on similar ideas.

 

As an integral part of our holistic approach, Brainy & Mindy programme integrates other exercises and activities that cultivate their love of arts, nature and people and expose them to self-discovery. The intellectual capability, open-mindedness and expanded-awareness they will have acquired will serve them well—long after they have completed the program—for a lifetime.
